Happy Wednesday from the wildlife park! The weather is started to get hot, especially in the middle of the day, so you definitely want to try to come at feeding time (3:00) in order to see the animals when they are most active. If you can't make it at that time, try to come in the morning before 11:00, when it's still cooler.

It's time for horseback riding trail rides again! We offer one hour rides for $60/person, and half hour rides for $35/person. Reservations are highly recommended, but occasionally, we can accommodate walk-ins. If you've got little ones (ages 3-5) that want to ride a horse, we offer lead-line rides for $25. Starting May 15th, we will be open 9:00-5:00, and we will be feeding the wildlife animals at 3:00 daily.

We were so blessed last week to have a visitor from the Santa Fe Raptor Center for an educational presentation to our Nature Studies class. This is a peregrine falcon named Horace. Isn't he magnificent?
