Founded in 2005 by both Dr. Linda Amezcua and Dr. Nancy Craig, the Coastal Cat Clinic is the cats-only sister hospital to Linda Mar Veterinary Hospital located in the Pedro Point District of Pacifica. We provide comprehensive medical care in a tranquil environment to help keep your cat at ease during their visit with us. Coastal Cat is a compact full-service hospital with a small clinic feel. Here

we provide dental cleanings, laboratory services, parasite testing and prevention, preventative healthcare, surgery, vaccination, radiology, microchipping and technician services. As of 2019, we have become certified as a Cat Friendly Practice, Gold Level.

While cats may lounge indoors, the summer can still trigger skin issues like itching, flaking, or flare-ups of underlying conditions. Common signs of irritation may include:​

-Excessive scratching or licking​
-Patches of hair loss​
-Scabs or red, inflamed skin​
-Dull or greasy coat texture​
