Dobbs Horsemanship Quality training for you and your horse. My goal is the same for both horse and human. Providing for quality horsemanship for the rider and the horse.

To get them better than they were yesterday and set them up to be better tomorrow. We provide colt starting, tune-up, trail, obstacle and performance training for any breed of horse. We provide lessons for the beginner rider to performance rider. We have a limited number of horses for sale as well. We want to make life better and easier for you and your horse.

Lesson reminder today. Check your reins. Had a horse in training break in half with no feet in stirrups. Had him rode until left rein snapped. Even though not as young as I once was, I still get mad when don't ride them out.

Meant to text you a happy update yesterday. I worked with Rain (boss mare) by myself again yesterday and she let me walk right up and catch her (no grain!) and acted like she wanted to be with me. 🙌 She did awesome with lunging and everything. I really focused on being slow and soft and she was great!

This is from a client who has a really well bred mare that she was having issues controlling. We worked on doing less to get more. So happy for her.
