**July's Pet of the Month!**
Lexi's Mom says......

Lexi was born 10/10/10. She loves early morning walks and going to the dog park. She is a "frequent flyer" of Dr. Bumberry's, and has actually seen Dr. B since she first came out of vet school. Lexi prefers soft toys and soft treats, especially carrots, green beans, and sweet potatoes! Her favorite activities include laying on top of the AC vent, chasing the lizards in the yard (when she catches them, she bites off the tails, eats the tails and lets the lizards go), and hoping after the frogs in the yard when they hop. She howls with the radio, especially Christmas songs (Jingle bells, Frosty the snowman). "She is the best dog kid I could have!" ❤️

The ticks seem to be everywhere! If your pet is not protected, neither are you and your family. They will ride in on your pet's fur and find you on your couch, in your car, or even in your bed! We find them on ourselves in clinic frequently as they come in on unprotected pets daily. There are topical applications, collars, prescription oral medications and now even injectable preventions available.

Our office will be closing at 12:00 PM on Wednesday July 15th as our team participates in an afternoon of professional training.
We believe that investing in our team's education and development helps us provide the highest level of care and service to our patients. This dedicated training time allows us to learn, grow, and bring even better knowledge and skills back to our community.
