🐾🩷 A Little Personal Update from Dramatic Paws 🩷🐾
Hey y’all! I wanted to take a minute to give my wonderful clients a little update and ask for some extra patience this week. 💕
Unfortunately, I’ve sustained an acromioclavicular (AC) joint separation in my shoulder, with the injury approaching a Grade III severity. This means the ligaments that stabilize the joint where my collarbone meets my shoulder blade have been damaged, causing pain, instability, and limited range of motion. It’s making everyday movements difficult, especially the lifting, reaching, and repetitive arm movements that grooming requires.
If you know me, you know that I’m not one to slow down, cancel appointments, or let anything keep me from my fur babies! Grooming isn’t just my job. It’s my passion, my livelihood, and something I’ve poured my heart into building. ❤️
With that being said, I am going to do my absolute best to continue taking care of my scheduled babies this week. However, I will be moving a little slower than normal, and appointments may take longer than usual.
I’m stubborn, and sitting still has never been my strong suit! 😂 But I’m also learning that sometimes I have to listen to my body and give myself a little grace.
I promise every baby in my care will still receive the same love, patience, and attention they always have. I just might need a little extra time to get things done. 🐶💕
If I need to make any adjustments to appointments, I will personally reach out.
I truly appreciate every single one of you who continues to support me and my little business. You have no idea how much it means to me, especially during times like this.
Thank you for being patient with me while I heal. I love my job, I love your babies, and I love my Dramatic Paws family! 🩷🐾
Love y’all,
Amanda 💕
