🐾 Hey, fellow dog lovers! 👋🐶

Does your dog have selective hearing? 👀 Pull you down the street like they're training for the Iditarod? Or suddenly forget everything they've learned the second you leave the house? 😂

You're definitely not alone!

I'm Kate, owner and head trainer of Pure Freedom K9, and I help dogs and their humans build better communication, stronger relationships, and real-world reliability.

🐕 What do we specialize in?
✅ Puppy Foundations & Obedience Training
✅ Leash Manners & Reliable Recall
✅ Reactivity & Behavior Modification
✅ Confidence Building & Socialization
✅ Service Dog Training
✅ Real-World Obedience

We offer private in-home training, board & train, and hybrid programs customized to fit your dog, your goals, and your lifestyle.

At Pure Freedom K9, we believe training is about more than teaching commands. It's about building a relationship based on trust, communication, and understanding while giving both you and your dog the freedom to enjoy life together.

🐾 Real client. Real results. Real teamwork.

Carly and Lucy are proof that dog training isn’t just about teaching the dog—it’s about teaching the team. ❤️

When Carly first came to me, she wanted to better understand Lucy and build a stronger relationship with her. Through structure, communication, consistency, and teamwork, they’ve made incredible progress together.

I’ll let Carly tell you the rest. 🐶✨

Train the team, not just the dog.

🐶 “He doesn’t bite…”

Sure he doesn’t. 😏

Some dogs give kisses. Some give cuddles. And some prefer to show their affection with a little more… TEETH. 😂

Introducing LIKES TO GIVE MOUTH HUGS 🦴🐾

For the dog trainers, groomers, vet staff, rescue workers, spicy-dog owners, and seasoned dog people who know exactly what a “mouth hug” is.

Because sometimes “he’s friendly” comes with terms and conditions. 😂

Wear the chaos. Rep the Bark Pack. 🐾

Front to back, the truth comes out. 🤣

Therapy is expensive. Dog shirts are cheaper. 😂🐾

For the dog-obsessed, slightly feral, dark-humored humans who would choose dogs over just about anything & whose entire personality is basically “I work with dogs and I’m probably not okay.”

Wear your questionable life choices proudly. 🖤🐕

Airlines are allowing cats and dogs to fly in cabins alongside their owners. ✈️

The change gives pets a more comfortable travel experience and keeps them close to the people they trust.

Many animals experience stress during travel, and staying with owners can provide extra comfort.

Pet-friendly travel options continue to grow as more people see animals as family members.

🏡 Bringing home a new dog is exciting... but it can also feel overwhelming.

Many owners expect their new dog to settle in immediately, but the truth is that every dog needs time to adjust to a new home, new people, and a completely new routine.

The first few days can set the tone for your future together. By understanding what your dog is experiencing and setting realistic expectations, you'll build trust, confidence, and a stronger relationship from day one.

This is just one of the many topics covered in the Pure Freedom K9 Handbook, designed to help owners start off on the right paw. 🐾

💬 What was the biggest surprise when you brought your dog home?
