Congratulations to ODTCW's Obedience Instructor Laurie Cararo. Laurie's "Brenley" scored 196 1/2 points in Utility under esteemed judge, Rick Ritacco, at last weekend's trial at the Golden Rule For Dogs. "Brenley" is owned and bred by Laurie.

Many thanks to Attorney Karen A Fisher for an engaging and informative seminar today on Planning for your Pet's Future, held at at the
Obedience Dog Training Club of Waterbury.

We learned about the establishment of pet trusts in Connecticut, how pet trusts work, key legal requirements under Connecticut law, and practical considerations to ensure pets are cared for according to their people's wishes, how to provide financial security, designate caregivers, and avoid common pitfalls. Great thought provoking questions and discussions followed.
