🎊 We are so honored today to deliver our first 100 survivor care bags to the Lancaster General Hospital
Emergency Department! 🎊
Our mission is to stand beside survivors of violent crime, domestic violence, and trauma at one of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.
To the Amazing Nurses:
You are the first line of defense, safety, and comfort for these patients. You offer comfort and care when their world has been upended. But we know that when they leave those hospital walls, the road to healing is long, and it can be incredibly terrifying.
That is why we created these bags. Born out of my own personal experience, these resources are designed to provide immediate support, dignity, and comfort the exact moment a survivor steps back into the world. Inside, they will find essentials, new clean clothes and shoes, comfort items, and other resources—but more importantly, a reminder that they are believed, they are not alone, and their healing matters.
We don't just see this as a donation; we see this as a partnership. We want to equip you with a tangible tool to pass along that glimmer of hope when you say goodbye to a patient. Thank you for your tireless dedication, your bravery, and the profound care you give to the Lancaster community every single day. We are so grateful to team up with you. 🩺🤍
