It’s been one of the biggest pleasure getting to be a part of Millie’s team. It’s hard to imagine that the horse we see today is who got off the trailer over a year ago, and we’re beyond thankful her human trusted us to help get her back on track and what a special feeling that is to get to see her progress in all the ways!

Full service retirement & rehabilitation stalls coming available as early as September 15th in scenic Sutton, MA! Potential for standard full board with owner provided grain to the right person.

The property offers:
• 11’x12’ fully matted stalls
• Simple wash station for bathing and hosing
• An adorable tack room with space for your saddle, trunk and bridles with main level storage options throughout
• Grass paddocks with shade that are maintained to promote natural exercise with use of land; paired or group turnout options and opportunity for 24/7 in a 20’x18’ shared shed to a horse who can coexist happily with an existing resident; individual turnout available on a case by case basis
• Medical paddock space for limited or restricted turnout needs
• 150’x100’ well lit outdoor arena and trails that lead right off the back of the property, field space to warm up/cool out
• No indoor yet but farm is central to multiple beautifully kept facilities who offer indoor arena rentals

Our program offers:
• Knowledgeable staff focused in rehabilitation and retirement who have extensive experience with OTTB’s, hard keepers and problem solving. Evaluations done on arrival aimed to ensure care planning is 100% personalized and includes consistent monitoring and reassessments as your horses needs change
• Forage forward feed program with Tribute grain and optional daily ground flaxseed provided by us; utilizes forage replacement options galore for special needs diets. First cutting hay fed free choice and second cutting available on discussion
• Grooming schedule that includes hoof picking on turn in/out, regular mane & tail management, daily brush downs, hose offs during the summer months and bathing weather permitting. Seasonal clipping is available at cost
• Blanket and turnout gear changes as needed under owner’s written/labeled guide
• Scheduling for use of our service providers, like our network of trainers and bodywork specialists as well as handling for said appointments; ability to do phone or video call for owners who can’t be present
• Rehabilitation related care. We provide hand walking, wrapping, cold hosing/icing, foot soaking, basic wound dressing and bandaging, IM medication administration, and more!
• Ability to utilize our in-house trainer Chloe Smith who’s accepting clients! Fully licensed and insured; Chloe specializes in growing riders up through lower to mid level eventing and teaches all associated disciplines such as dressage and show jumping
• Lease options to someone looking for a show horse for the 2026 season
• Use of your own farrier, vet and trainers (with insurance on file)

I try very hard to keep this page apolitical, but today I’m really frustrated and angry. I have been wondering when I would personally feel the effects of this new tariff war. Well, today is the day. I called our local hay supplier, who has always sourced the hay he sells from upstate NY, and *Canada.* With a heaviness to his voice, he let me know that we would be seeing a 25% price increase due to the 25% tariff on goods coming from Canada. That’s not insignificant, and in an industry with razor thin margins due to the inflation we’ve seen over the last 5 years, it really stings.
Elections matter. The consequence of this election has ripples that will cause so many of the things we love to hike up prices just to stay afloat - or go under otherwise. Trickle down economics has never worked, and it certainly won’t work this time. Please, reach out to your reps and let them know you are outraged. Speak up and out - your barn, your refuge, your safe space, may depend on it.

With her owner heading for surgery soon we’re looking to see what interest there might be in an on farm lease in Oxford, MA for this sporty lady! Full or half lease options available.

🌟 “Millbank Magic” 🌟

Millie is a compact 15.3hh coming 8yo OTTB who has a solid W/T under saddle and decent canter that’s ready for some fine tuning. After time off to build condition she’s been enjoying the come back into work and she’s told us she’s ready for more. Millie thrives having her brain picked; she’s sensitive, expressive and VERY honest.

She has a big personality and wants to have fun. Millie is young but has a good head on her shoulders for someone patient. Under saddle she’s a more forward ride but still controlled and easy to work down, especially with the consistency! Millie would do best with someone confident under a trainers guidance who’s wanting to commit to a 3-5 day a week program.

Loves western work and we think she would do great running gymkhana, put on the barrel pattern or in the HJ ring. Millie likes fast paced and competitive. She’s the perfect opportunity to score a 2025 show horse without the responsibility of owning.

Jumps, poles, barrels, dressage letters and cones on site with plenty of property to walk.
