Roger – 12-Year-Old Grade Gelding

Roger is a 12-year-old grade gelding standing 16.2 hands and weighing approximately 1,100 lbs. He’s a big boy with a gentle, quiet disposition who loves attention.

✅ Ground Manners: Clips, bathes, and stands for the farrier like a gentleman. Light in the halter and soft in the bridle, trailers quietly, and settles in a single turnout pasture or is dominant in a group pasture.

✅ Under Saddle: Fun and easy to ride in the arena or on the trail. Moves off the leg, can be ridden in spurs, picks up both leads, listens to voice commands, and goes through trail obstacles. Point-and-shoot type, ideal for a lesson program. Smooth trot with good suspension—great for teaching kids to post.

✅ Care & Health: UTD on vetting and coggins. Easy keeper. Old fence scar on left heel is cosmetic only.

Roger is good with dogs and quiet around farm equipment. Leave him off for a bit and he comes back the same sweet horse.
