Hey y’all! Before I put all the pieces together, I want to see how much interest there is for a fun new event idea. For October, I’m thinking about adding an extra show in addition to our regular high point show.
This one won’t count toward high point awards—it’s just for fun and bragging rights! 🎉 We’d start at 5:00 PM and focus mainly on gaming classes, with a few rail classes sprinkled in.
Here are just some of the class ideas we’ve got so far:
🐎 Barrels
🐎 Poles
🐎 Trail Obstacle
🐎 Costume Class
🐎 Sip & Run – run around the barrels, grab a cup at each barrel, and drink it on the way to the next!
🐎 Water Glass
🐎 Musical Feed Bags (When the music stops your horses feet must be on a feed bag)
🐎 Baby Bottle Race
🐎 Texas Barrels
🐎 Have a Snack
🐎 Catalog Race (We will give you a page number to find, you rip it out and run back)
🐎 Toilet Paper Race (Two riders each on there own horse, you will run down around the barrel and run back, if you rip the toilet paper its a no time, fastest team will win.)
🐎 Apple Bobbing (Run down bob a apple and run back, fastest time wins)
Balloon Race (Three balloons one on each barrel, run around the barrels and pop each balloon, fastest time will win)
🐎 Buddy Pick-Up
… and so many more in the works!
This is just the start, but I think it could be a blast if enough people are interested. Let me know if you’d be in! 🐴💛
