Clay-Mar Veterinary Clinic Founded in 1969 by George Boggs. Bought by Dr. McCumons 2005. Dr. Teri Sexton took over in 2016. Tucked away in a lovely country setting.

Clay-Mar Veterinary Clinic has been serving the Owosso community for 43 years. We love to help your cats, dogs and other small animals with their general medicine needs; including vaccines, general surgery, dentistry, diagnostic imaging (general and dental x-rays) as well as in-house and outside lab blood work, biopsies, cytology, etc. In clinic ultra-sounds easily arranged.

Get your pet ready for a disaster!

Today is National Animal Disaster Preparedness Day. It's important to make sure everyone in your family - including your pet or service animal - is included in your disaster preparedness plans.

We have put together a list of some items you could use in a kit to be ready for your pet in case there is a need.

Food & Water
~7 day supply of food in airtight container (Ziplock freezer bags work great)
~At least 3 days supply water
~Bowls, Liquid dish soap, manual can opener

Medication
~At least 2 weeks supply of medications
~Dosage and administration instructions

Documents
~ Microchip & License information
~Veterinary records with vaccine history
~Emergency Contact list including your Veterinarian
~Photo of your pet (preferably with you)

Travel Supplies
~ Carrier or crate with your contact information
~ Extra Collar/Harness with ID tags and leash
~ Portable litter box and litter (for cats)
~ Favorite toys, travel bed

First Aid
~Antibiotic Ointment
~Adhesive tape, scissors, disposable gloves
~Non-stick bandage/wrap
~Absorbent gauze pads
~Saline solution
~Instant cold pack
~Towels and a blanket
~Digital thermometer
~Styptic powder
~Muzzle
