Went to the Howard County Fair and had a blast! Even won Best Senior doe in show with a doe other than Kim! Juniors showed on Thursday evening and they did quite well.
Juniors
Jr kid: 1/5 Victoria Plum, 2nd Viza D Klein (owned by Christy Luse) and 3rd Vision of Love
Intermediate kids: 2/6 Violin Strings, 3rd Vera Twang
Senior Kids:1/2 Vanity Starr, 2/2 Vullaby (owned by Christy Luse)
Sr Yearling: 1/8 Tempwhora
Victoria was Reserve, The grand was a gorgeous intermediate kid who was sited by a Milkweed Buck and she went on to be BJDIS!!

Senior show was today:
Yearling milkers:1/3 Tia Kofi, 2nd Turtle Dove
2yr olds: 1/4 Shoeshi,2nd Shuga
3yr olds: 1/3 Rapidash
4yr olds: 1/3 Prickly Pear
Grand: Prickly Reserve: Shoeshi
Kim challenged Prickly but Prickly came out on top today!!!

Prickly went back in for BSDIS and came out a winner! Thanks to everyone who helped me show!

I love getting updates from animals I sold! Christy reached out last fall to get some does (you know the token ones lol). I knew I wanted to give her some amazing ones so when I was looking out in my pens, I saw these two and just kept thinking :I know I should keep them but they are two really nice ones and would be perfect for her. I sent her pictures and she was sold. They have been in the right hands ever since! I’m glad to be part of starting her journey with Oberhasli!!!

I just realized I never shared my results from the 2026 National Show!

I couldn’t be prouder of the direction my growing herd is headed, and I’m excited to continue building and improving in the years ahead. The National Show is always my favorite week of the year—not just because of the competition, but because I get to spend time with so many people who share the same passion for these amazing animals.
