Forsee Southdowns 100 year Anniversary Celebration!

🗓️ September 27 🗓️

Socialize with the crew and enjoy some barbecue, ice cream and refreshments. On display we will have bred ewes and buck lambs for sale. Every year we pull out some of our top producing ewes here on the farm and offer them for sale. They are bred to some of the most sought after rams in the Southdown breed.

Everyone that comes to view sheep will automatically be entered into a drawing for a GIVEAWAY BRED EWE! This female will be one that has excelled in our program and now we want to see what she can do for you. More pictures and information will be posted soon.

We welcome you to tour our facilities and view our stud bucks, Babydoll Southdowns and Romneys.

We got the next generation of stud bucks pictured! We’ve been very particular about the males we kept intact this year and made sure they were genetically going to fit the bill along with looking the part as well. Join us for our 100 year celebration!

With it being our 100 year anniversary we want to make it memorable for everyone including us! Friday evening at 5:30 we will be having ice cream and hangout for everyone at the fair grounds! We will also be doing a raffle for Southdown breeders. For every Southdown breeder that comes and gets some ice cream, you can put your name in a drawing to win a straw of semen! We are going to do 1 straw on Swamp Cat, 1 straw on Next Up and 1 straw on Bourbon Trail! Come by, say hi to everyone and enjoy the evening and let's look at some sheep!

We are bringing a very deep set to the National Sale this weekend in Greenville, OH. We believe in these females and even more in their genetic backing. We are celebrating our 100th year anniversary in the Southdown breed and these females are backed by proven and predictable genetics that are time tested. Come see them and us at the pens in Greenville this weekend.

Wow! What a great day at the farm today. Champions Choice Camps came to the farm and exceeded our expectations! Fitting, feeding, presentation, and much more was discussed and improved in all of our campers! A huge THANK YOU goes out to Tracy and her team!!

Weaver Livestock continues to support our youth as well! They donated many products that our campers had the privilege to take home. Thank you!!
