Merry Christmas and happy holidays from all of us at The Pet Manny! We hope it is filled with peace and happiness. All of us are so thankful and appreciative of your support and trust in us to take care of your pups. And I am so thankful of our hardworking crew and all the time and effort they put in over this holiday rush.

The shop is closed until Jan 2. We will respond to all calls and messages when we are back from our break. See you all in the new year!

We have had a couple confirmed cases of kennel cough/respiratory infections from dogs that were at the shop within the last 2 weeks. We have had no dogs at the shop showing symptoms, but it can be spread before they start showing them. It is an airborne virus that is hard to control. If your dog has shown any symptoms please reschedule and do not bring them to the shop. If they have been exposed to other dogs at the vet or another facility in the last 2 weeks, please take precaution and let us know. If you are concerned about your pup coming in give us a call and we can push the appointment out.

Again only 2 dogs out of the few hundred we've done in the last month so not saying there is an outbreak. But you know I like to be honest and keep people informed of any issues.

Our phone and internet is out at the shop. You can still message us through the scheduling app. The number that sends out appointment reminders and receipts can be used to text us. We can still use the app from our phones with data. We will be unable to process credit cards until the internet is back up so please bring cash or check if you are picking up your dog today. We also have Venmo if you need to use that. Thanks!

ATTENTION PLEASE!!!

We have a new receptionist as most of you know. She is asking everyone to reschedule like we always tell you but some people have not been doing that. Some of it is when people pick up that are not the usual person, they will tell us that they will call. But then they don't and call when it's time for their dog to be groomed, then we have no space for them. I have multiple regular clients calling trying to get in ASAP. But I have NO availability until after Christmas. None. The other groomers have very very few spots available before Christmas. We stress the importance of rescheduling at pick up so you do not lose your spot. Please reschedule your pups when you pick up. If you are not picking up yourself, please tell whoever is to make sure they reschedule it.

We have a new receptionist at the front desk so phones are being answered once again. Today was a great first day but it is completely new for her and she is still learning everything as we go. Be patient with her and with us as she gets acclimated to the shop and the scheduling system. The system is easy, but understanding the schedule and what dog works where will take time.

Luckily one thing that is different this time is she doesn't have to get to know me or my ways. Being that she is also my mother, she has a pretty solid understanding of who I am and why I am the way I am 😁. I can be a lot for some people and I get that. Im easy going but man I like to work and I want to be around people who like to work and take pride in what they do every time.

So I would say get used to the new face at the front desk because she will probably be there as long as we continue to do this. She left her job at the hospital where she had been for many years to come and be a part of the team and help me out and I am really excited and optimistic about the business going forward.

We are currently without a receptionist and pretty overbooked most days. I am doing my best to get to the phones but there are a ton of messages. If you have called and left a message i will get back with you in the next couple days at the most. As always if your pup is here being groomed and you have not heard from us, then we are most likely still working on them. Each dog takes a certain amount of time to finish. We make sure that we do not cheat you, your dogs, or ourselves out of a proper service. The majority of the days scheduled over the next few weeks were done when we had more staff and intended for them to be here. Now we do not have those staff members but those that are here are doing their best to get everyone out in a safe and timely manner. Thanks for your understanding and continued support!
