Happy Birthday to our friend and mentor, Wanda. While she is greatly missed every day, her memory lives on. Not a day passes when someone does not tell a story about Wanda or reference her in explaining how her ideas and inspirations still exist in our day to day operations. Wanda is always in our hearts and on our minds. With that, in honor of her legacy of loving and caring for animals, we created the Sam & Wanda Big Heart Fund to help animals in need. The fund began in 2015 and has helped so many dogs and cats over the years. We love our FAMily and how giving you are when we highlight a need. This is yet another way we know you will help honor her life and all of our love for animals. It is with heavy hearts we let you know that our FAMily said goodbye to one of our clinic cats, Cruella Crunchwrap Supreme, aka “CeCe.” She came to us just under 2 years ago and needed a lot of TLC and medical care. Our entire staff was involved in providing her the treatment and love she needed during her last couple of years. Our incredible kennel staff were her primary caretakers daily and loved her so much. You may have met CeCe when she was sometimes up at the front desk sleeping in a bed or hopping onto clients’ laps without invitation. But if you didn’t, she was an adorable, crusty, little Persian cat like Grim. They made for quite a duo. CeCe was a social eater who needing emotional support from her humans to chomp her food. She was tiny but a force. We’d love you to share your memories below and we thank all of you for loving her with us.
