is a Non-Profit, No Kill 501(c)(3) animal rescue that is dedicated to making a BIG difference in the lives of animals scheduled for euthanasia. Since our formation in 2005 we have successfully rehabilitated, spayed/neutered and adopted out over 7,000 animals. We believe education is the key to ensuring the well-being of companion animals, while helping to end the overpopulation, abuse and unwarran

ted euthanasia. We believe that every animal deserves a second chance at a long, happy and healthy life. rescues puppies and dogs of all ages and breeds. We take great pride in the health, temperament and adoption experience for both the animals and adopters. We specialize in puppies 6 months and younger as they do require more time, care, and medical treatment than an adult dogs. This is because a puppy’s immune system is not fully developed and is more susceptible to catching diseases. We quarantine all animals for a minimum of 21 days to help stop the spread of once deadly diseases. All animals are vaccinated, wormed, made up to date on flea/heart guard prevention and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. About 99% of the animals that we take in are rescued from high-kill shelters. 1% are owner surrender. We are one of the few rescues that treat any and all illnesses including mange, parvo, distemper, corona, influenza, kennel cough, broken bones, liver shunts, etc. We also take in blind and deaf animals. No problem is too big or too small.

Meet Thelma!

Thelma is a 1-2 years old Corgi looking for a quiet, patient, *child free* home where she can feel safe and learn to trust at her own pace.

She is housebroken and does well with dogs around her size. Thelma is a sensitive girl and can fear bite if she feels overwhelmed or is approached too quickly.
She needs someone who understands her boundaries, pays attention to her body language, and gives her the time and space to feel comfortable.

The good news?
Her foster is already seeing progress.

Her foster says Thelma has started warming up, follows her around, and is becoming more comfortable in her presence.
She’s learning that she is safe, and those little steps are a big deal for Thelma.

Thelma isn’t looking for a home where she has to be everyone’s best friend right away. She’s looking for someone patient who will let her build trust at her own pace.

If you’re willing to give her that time, Thelma may just become your very best friend.

Hi! I’m Jewels!
I’m almost a year old… we think.
I’m a Chihuahua mix… we think.
I’ll probably be 30 lbs or under… we think.

Basically, the only thing we know for sure is that I am 100% a good girl.

I’m small like a Chihuahua, but I have the coloring of a Husky, so naturally everyone is going to have a different theory about what exactly happened here.

And before anyone comments,
“Definitely part Husky!” followed by someone else saying, “That’s a Chihuahua!” followed by someone confidently declaring I’m part Corgi, Dachshund, fox, wolf and possibly a throw pillow…

Please remember: guessing a dog’s breed from a photo is basically a canine version of reading tea leaves.

So, what’s YOUR guess?

Jewels is good with other dogs, does well with older kiddos, and hasn’t been cat tested.

She’s ready to trade the mystery of her DNA for something much more important:

Meet Lizzie.

She’s a beautiful, petite Smooth Collie/Rat Terrier/Heinz 57 mix who somehow managed to pack a BIG personality into just 27 pounds.

At about 6 months old, Lizzie is the perfect combination of sweet, smart, playful and just a little bit goofy. She’s fantastic with other dogs, loves kiddos, and once she decides you’re her person, get ready…

Because the shy little girl you met at first turns into a full blown lovebug with zoomies.

Lizzie can be a little nervous when meeting new people. She needs a moment to take everything in and feel safe. But give her a little patience and watch the transformation happen.

Suddenly, she’s bringing you toys. Running around like she owns the place. Looking at you with those “you’re my person” eyes. And soaking up every ounce of affection she can get.

That’s the Collie in her.

Smooth Collies are known for being intelligent, loyal, sensitive, affectionate and eager to be involved with their people. Add in the playful, adaptable qualities you often see in mixed breeds, and Lizzie is one seriously special little package.

She’s the kind of dog who wants a family to explore with, play with, cuddle with and eventually curl up beside after a busy day of being adorable.

We think Lizzie is going to make someone an incredible best friend.
