Two weeks old!! Our Limited Edition Alani Miniature Poodles are growing leaps and bounds. Their little eyes have just started to open, and soon their ears will follow. This week we start to see some early play within the litter, little growls and pawing at each other. The puppies are starting to get up on their legs and wobbly-walk around. It is absolutely precious!
These purebred Miniature Poodles are expected to mature around 12–15 lbs and 14–15 inches tall. Their beautiful, curly coats are expected to have minimal shedding, though they will require regular professional grooming to keep them looking and feeling their best. Both Ember and Willie have completed appropriate breed-specific health testing, and we are excited to raise this special litter with the same intentional care and attention we bring to every JNB puppy.
While Miniature Poodles are a different breed from our Labradoodles and Bernedoodles, our commitment to raising confident, well-socialized puppies remains the same. Poodles are intelligent, affectionate, and eager to learn, making them wonderful companions for families prepared to provide regular interaction, training, exercise, and enrichment. If you are considering one of these puppies, we encourage you to think beyond their petite size and adorable curls. Every puppy has an individual personality, and our goal is to help each family find the companion best suited to their lifestyle and expectations.
Our puppy selection process takes place at six weeks of age, after aptitude testing, and follows the order in which deposits were received. We use the testing results alongside our daily observations to help families make thoughtful, informed decisions about the best fit for their home.
