Grateful for an opportunity to sneak away for a little getaway this past weekend. Excited to get back to posting sweet puppy updates today! A huge thank you to my friend Debbie for holding down the fort while we were gone.

It's always interesting and a bit sad to see how dogs in other areas live. It's hard when you can't just bring them all back with you to experience the life they deserve. It's a good reminder that we are blessed to have families that love their pets unconditionally and give them the best care!

From puppyhood to power naps, Archie (Friday) and Monk are proof that the little things we do early matter. By always making the crate a safe, cozy, positive place, they learn itā€™s not ā€˜time outā€™, itā€™s their own bedroom. Now, even as they grow, these boys naturally seek out their crates when itā€™s time to recharge. Crate training done right looks a lot like this: calm, happy pups choosing comfort all on their own šŸ¤ā€

Harper is officially entering the ā€œteaching momā€ stage with her 4Ā½ week old puppies. Sheā€™s starting the weaning process by shortening nursing sessions and allowing the pups to nurse less often as they begin exploring solid food and becoming more independent.

Even as mama dogs start stepping back from constant feeding, their job is far from over. This is when they begin teaching some of the most important lessons, patience, boundaries, confidence, and proper puppy manners. From correcting rough play to showing calm behavior, Harper is helping shape these little ones into well-socialized dogs, one gentle lesson at a time.

Monk is currently in training to become the perfect adventure partner. The kind whoā€™s always ready for backyard games, family hikes, road trips, cuddle sessions, and growing up right alongside his favorite little humans. Thereā€™s something so special about the bond between children and puppies, the laughter, the endless games of chase, and the quiet moments snuggling together. Itā€™s the kind of friendship that shapes childhood and leaves paw prints on your heart forever.

At just 3 months old, Monk is already confident, loving, playful, and completely devoted to his people. He adores children, thrives on connection and activity, and is expected to grow to around 40 lbs full grown, the perfect size for both adventures and snuggles. Watching a puppy and child grow up side by side is truly one of lifeā€™s greatest blessings, and Monk is ready to become someoneā€™s very best friend!
