National Triglyceride Day!
Hyperlipidemia, or high levels of fats (including triglycerides and cholesterol) in the blood, can lead to various health problems, including those affecting the eyes.
-Excess lipids can deposit on the cornea (the clear outer layer of the eye), causing a condition called corneal lipidosis.
-Lipid aqueous occurs when lipids, normally kept out of the aqueous humor by the blood-aqueous barrier, leak into the eye.

Epilepsy is a disease in animals too!
Visual Disturbances:
Seizures affecting the occipital lobe can lead to a variety of visual disturbances, including:
Visual hallucinations: Seeing things that aren't actually there, such as flashing lights, colors, or even more complex images.
Loss of vision or blurred vision: Temporary impairment or complete loss of vision during a seizure.
Eye movements: Uncontrolled or jerky eye movements, rapid blinking, or forced closure of the eyelids.
Staring into space: Difficulty processing visual stimuli.
Eye deviation: Eyes moving to one side or upwards.
