The seven acre off-leash area is located near the center of the park. The flat, open space is fenced and equipped with ample parking. For the enjoyment of all patrons and pets, the District's Off-Leash Area Code of Conduct/Rules apply. Please note that between March 15 and November 15 there are weekly maintenance closures. During that period, maintenance is scheduled every Wednesday from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. The closures are intended to allow for a higher level of maintenance to the area without compromising dog and patron safety. The JCPRD Public Art Program is excited to introduce the four artists selected to design a third poster set of JCPRD parks, trails and facilities using the iconic and majestic style used by the Federal Art Project artists of the 1930s. Each artist will spend time getting to know their assigned park to illustrate specific features or attributes.

The parks selected for 2025 include Kill Creek Park, Meadowbrook Park, Thomas S. Stoll Memorial Park, and Arthur & Betty Verhaeghe Park.

Kjella Acosta will be designing the Thomas S. Stoll Memorial Park poster.
Jadie Arnett will be designing the Meadowbrook Park poster.
Alex Berkowitz will be designing the Kill Creek Park poster.
Amanda Reece will be designing the Arthur & Betty Verhaeghe Park poster.

Save the date for the Poster Project Reveal Party and Artist Talkback Event at the Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center on November 13. After this event, prints will be available for sale with proceeds benefiting the JCPRD Public Art Program.
