Sibling Aggression

Dog Trainer or Dog Behaviorist?

We are whichever you’d like to call us. There isn’t actually an organization that oversees dog trainers and designates titles. There are many organizations of dog trainers, but they all make up their own titles and funky little letters to put after their name. Anyone can call themselves a dog trainer, dog behaviorist, dog wizard, dog whisperer, etc.

Personally, we prefer the title dog behavior trainer, or dog behaviorist. We work primarily with behavior, so we think a title with behavior in it is probably most accurate. Professional dog trainer works, too. Plus, people seem to think behavior training is something different than regular old dog training, although we’d argue it’s the same thing (or at least it should be).
If you’re not sure if we are offering the kind of training you’re looking for, just ask!
