Figz Dog Rescue Our mission as a small foster based rescue is to save dogs from dire situations (such as kill shelters, at risk of euthanasia) and give them hope.

We especially love to save special needs dogs that need an extra paw up.

These two sweet girls have come so far in a few weeks. They’ve both been fully vetted and gained some much needed weight. Also we are so excited to report they have both found homes!! These girls so deserve having a home that will provide them the love and care they deserve ❤️. Huge thanks for the Willoughby family for fostering miss Sophie until she found a home. Also big thanks for those donations that have come in for Sophie’s medical care. It really takes a village at times! I’ve included some random photos of them throughout their stay with us, the foster, and the new home.

Sitka makes the best happy goofy faces at the beach! She’s just here to brighten this overcast day 🥰. She really doesn’t let her tripod status slow her down one bit.

She is getting spayed Tuesday and will be all set for a new home. We have added her on petfinder as well to help her find her perfect match home. We love you goofy Sitka girl!

Sophie is pending adoption 👍

This past week we took in this adorable 8 year lab named Sophie that needed a little TLC to feel her best. 🐶 We are asking for donations towards her vet visits so we can keep providing care to dogs like her ❤️

The first day she came to us it was noticed she had bloody urine and was straining so she started her night off with some care from Oceanlake Veterinary Clinic to start feeling better. She is currently being treated for a UTI and on a hefty dose of food to gain some weight. She had flea control, dewormer, and full bloodwork/fecal to make sure she was okay otherwise. Good news everything else came back normal! She does have a mild infection between her toes that is clearing up and she will need to be spayed next week. I attached the rescues Venmo picture if anyone would like to donate to her care (or you can also donate at Oceanlake Vet under Figz Dog Rescue). Between her two visits she will be looking at between $750-800 for all her care but then she will be a healthy and happy dog! She will be available for adoption as soon as she is spayed next week. If anyone has interest in her please reach out. She is with an amazing foster home right now!

How awesome is this??? Thanks Ginger Roots Home for supporting our love of rescue dogs. We bring all of our fosters in to meet the girls there and they are so loving to the dogs. This store is really one of my favorite places and now even more so. ❤️❤️.

*Foster found and adoption pending*

We took in two rescues that need some TLC before being up for adoption. The older lab has a foster but this cute 5 year old female cream retriever needs a comfy spot to land for a few weeks while she continues to receive care and put some weight on before her spay. She can be dog selective as she prefers dogs not to be in her face too much but does well with mellow dogs. She’s been a love with all the people and kids she’s met. Message us if you’re interested in watching this cutie for us! We provide all the medical care and food she’ll need during her stay. ❤️ Located in Lincoln City Oregon

Sitka got to visit the beach for the first time ever! I think it’s safe to say she loves it. Sitka is still looking for her forever home. ❤️ She really is such a character and is going to make someone so happy!! Message us if interested in her or if you have more questions on the girl.

I almost missed Tripawd Awareness Day! I have a special spot in my heart for these three legged rescues that have come to stay with me. Titan, Pistachio, and Sitka ❤️❤️. All living their best lives and happy to be alive. Titan and Pistachio found their forever homes so Sitka will find hers soon I’m sure.

Hey everyone! Welcome to my first official rescue pup post under Figz Dog Rescue! I’ve done a lot of fostering for dogs pulled from kill shelters in California and it inspired me to create my own small ripple in helping save some sweet dogs. I am a registered nonprofit under 501C3 and have donation receipts if needed.

This girl is named Sitka and is a 4 year old tripod who is still very active and happy! Her breed is a mystery but I definitely see husky mix in there! She was found abandoned with a broken leg but the shelter in California was able to get her the necessary amputation. Now she’s here at the Oregon Coast looking for a home ❤️.

She does best with medium to large dogs and so far is great with people and kids. She tends to gravitate towards women more than men but warms up to men quickly. She does need to go to a cat free home.

*All dogs to be adopted out will be spayed/neutered, on current flea control, and current on core vaccines.
