Nestled between two lakes, Newman Lake to the north and Liberty Lake to the south. Our farm sits in the fertile Spokane Valley where farming heritage runs deep. To keep that heritage alive we strive to farm much like our families
did years ago with a flock of laying hens for eggs and a variety of

heirloom vegetables . Keeping up with the modern world we take the old way of farming in hand and mold it to fit into the needs of today. Today we processed our 60 pounds of apricots. We pitted and cut them into 4 pieces and bagged them for the freezer. We got 15
3 pound bags, each bag will make a 9 jar batch of jam for the farmers market. We also canned 15 jars of a larger variety of Apricots for us to enjoy during the winter. And Paul was able to pick up a load of firewood from a nearby tree removal. A very productive day, time to rest!

We picked 60 pounds of apricots at Roening's On Green Bluff . They will be jam for the farmers market soon.
