Bailey’s Collar-Flowers My rough collie Bailey is the inspiration for my collar-flowers as her fur is so thick you can’t see the pretty collar she has on or any bandanna.

These felt flowers are lightweight & attach to a fabric or leather collar with Velcro.

This is Velvet. She’s 6 months old, 80% marshmallow, 20% cloud, and 100% pure Great Pyrenees sweetness. Velvet is calm, gentle, and easy like Sunday morning—and she needs a foster home within driving distance of Nashville ASAP.

She’s about to be adoptable, so you’ll get the joy of big puppy without the long-term commitment (unless you fall in love—no judgment, it happens).

Bonus round: Velvet has a sister named Vera, who is just as fluffy, just as sweet, and also in need of a place to crash. Got room for two polar bears? Even better.

If you’ve got a couch, a fenced yard, and a soft spot for floofy baby dogs and a desire to foster a snow beast, email [email protected]. Velvet (and possibly Vera) will thank you.

Spread the word for them please.

PS Video below so you can judge size. She's kind of a fluffy hamster at this stage.

UPDATE 6-1-25: We have Mom and the pups now. Pups are doing well. Mom is in super rough shape. We will post a more detailed update.

This is the face of abandonment. A starving Great Pyrenees mama and her three helpless puppies were dumped like trash on a rural backroad. The puppies were captured and we have them safe—frightened, tick and flea infested, and hungry—but Mama was already gone when help arrived.

She’s out there somewhere, scared and starving. Her body is skin and bones, her fur patchy and raw, but we are working around the clock with local volunteers to find and trap her and bring her to safety. But we can't do it alone.

We are already underwater with the arrival of the deported dogs (more on them tomorrow) and this was not needed, but there is zero chance we would say no. This is what happens in rural areas with no animal control services and it has to stop. There is no magic farm where dumped animals go to live. They starve and they die.

What we need is foster help and cash. These puppies do not need to be in our kennel (see pic below) and we could definitely use foster help. We also need cash. Anything will help as the numbers are crushing us and we are having to put dogs in boarding. If you can foster email [email protected].

If you’d like to donate $5 to help, you can do so here:

Thanks as always. Spread the word for fosters please. We are pretty freaked out.

Meet Resa. She’s 18 months old, 80 pounds of fluffy magnificence, and—brace yourself—actually perfect. Like, not “perfect with caveats” or “perfect if you don’t mind shredded throw pillows.” Nope. Just…perfect.

She’s a Great Pyrenees mix, which means she’s got the regal fluff, the gentle vibes, and the kind of soul that makes you question if she was sent here by celestial beings in this time of insanity. Resa is good with all humans (even the younger, stickier ones), dogs (yes, even your emotionally unstable cocker spaniel), and cats (she knows they rule the house—she’s fine with it).

She’s playful and semi-active, meaning she’s always down for a good romp in the yard and she can throw down like it's WWE, but she also believes strongly in the power of a well-timed nap attack. One moment she’s running full tilt with the pack, the next she’s snoring on your foot like a slightly majestic sack of marshmallows.

Adopt Resa if you're ready for: ✅ A best friend with majestic energy ✅ A floof who plays hard and naps harder ✅ A dog who won’t judge your snacks but will silently ask for one. She needs a home with a fenced yard and if you ask me if she sheds, the answer is you can't adopt her.

Apply for her before we keep her for ourselves. She's in Nashville but can travel. Interested adopters should email [email protected]. Spread the word for her please.

We can use some help. We went today to get several Great Pyrenees living in abject squalor from a rural property where they were being kept. The owners of these dogs were very poor and also very elderly and they could not provide care for them and they asked for help. I don't think we were adequately prepared for the conditions they were living in and we are grateful they are now safe.

These dogs are in really rough shape and need a lot of care. As is typical when you get hoarding condition dogs, they tend to have everything wrong with them. Under the matted fur, they are seriously underweight, they are infested with ticks and fleas and they are riddled with every parasite known to dog. They just need a lot of long term TLC and care for everything from skin and ear issues to damaged teeth from chewing on metal to get out.

Thanks as always. More pics in the comments. Spread the word for them please.
