11 month old F golden retriever mix

Fence preferred!

Her name may sound fierce, but this sweet girl is anything but! Barracuda is an affectionate pup with a heart of gold who is ready to find a patient, loving family to call her own.
We don’t know much about her first year of life, but it’s clear she experienced some instability that left her a bit anxious and unsure of new people or unfamiliar sounds. Barracuda is typically pretty calm, but when startled she may bark or become reactive. With continued training and understanding, she will only get better.

Because of her sensitive nature, Barracuda would thrive in a quieter home without small children. She gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, but she isn’t overly playful—she’s more of a “people dog” who prefers being close to her humans. She would be equally happy as an only dog or with a calm canine companion.

Barracuda is housebroken and crate trained (even if she’s not a huge fan of the crate!). Like many young dogs still learning about the world, she sometimes chews things she shouldn’t and is working on understanding what is a toy and what isn’t. With guidance, consistency, and plenty of appropriate chew items, she is making great progress.

Like a true Golden Retriever, she does shed, but she won’t require extensive grooming!

Barracuda has so much potential and so much love to give—she just needs the right home to help her feel safe, build confidence, and enjoy the good life as a cherished family pet.

HOLIDAY PET FOOD DRIVE
This holiday season, we invite you to support our pet food drive by donating pet food, cat litter, canned cat food, and dog biscuits for seniors in need within our community. Donations will be distributed to Meals on Wheels recipients and the hospets organization. Many low-income Senior Citizens face challenges in providing suitable food for their animals. Please drop off your donation at Dairy Depot; your contribution will bring relief to these animals and their owners. For those preferring monetary donations, all funds will go directly to the Alum Creek Dog Park for distribution.

This December, we’re spreading holiday cheer in a special way. For every vehicle sold in December, we will donate $100 to the Knox County Ohio Dog Shelter to help support pups in need this season. We will also be accepting donations like dog food and blankets or anything else to help the pups!

We’ll be decorating our showroom Christmas tree with a thank-you Ornament for every customer who purchases a vehicle from us. Your support helps us give back, and we want to celebrate with each and every one of you!
