It's been quiet around here lately, but popping in with some exciting news.

We are looking at becoming BlueBonnet Feeds dealers!

We've fed BlueBonnet since 2020 and we've been driving 2 hours to get it - it's that good! I've always prided myself on horses that look good - and I thought they did look good, but they look even better on BlueBonnet. And we supplement less.

BlueBonnet is produced at a single mill in Ardmore, OK that is 100% ionophore free (don't know what ionophores are? You should). Their formulas are 100% FIXED - which means what's in the bag never changes, even if there is a cheaper way to get to the same nutritional profile.

The good: well started heeling, has run breakaway calves, lopes the barrels, has been headed on. Rides all over - roads, pastures, water is no problem. Cowy as they come and will go all day and ask for more. I was still crawling on this one 6 months pregnant last year.

The bad: very watchy on the ground. Not mean, no bite or kick, but is flighty. Needs someone who can be patient and read a horse.

The more you’re on his back the better he is on the ground, needs to go to someone who will use him everyday.

Would consider trade+cash for a mid to higher end 15” rope saddle that fits a narrower horse well. Not interested in trading for other horses at this time (since we’re selling due to lack of time as it is).

Have arena and cattle on site.

It’s super fun to see your hard work on the “big screen” even if it’s a Facebook Live.

I’m not sure there are words for how proud this picture makes us - to stand in the box at the Jr American with your niece on a horse you trained (everyone who knows us probably knows “Chance’s roan horse”).

She roped beautifully! Just barely broke out to make the top 30 back. She also had a beautiful run yesterday in the Goat Tying - no rust on her this winter!

Tomorrow “Haidas Rey Dual” aka ReyRey and Maggie Dooley ou will try to make it happen in the pole bending - to have 3 horses help qualify youth for this event is just 🥰🥰🥰

It’s so exciting to me to train a horse and then sell them into bigger and better things! We will be cheering for draw #14 Maggie Dooley and Haidas Rey Dual in the KK Run for Vegas Race this weekend in Carthage, MO! Run Maggie and Rey Run!

Here is the draw for the KKRFV in Carthage, MO hosted by Barrel Bash. The start time has been pushed back to 11:30am on Sunday.

The bay head horse we have for sale right now has KS that is managed by annual injections. He’s super nice and suited to a higher # roper - but priced on a beer budget because of his maintenance.
