Paw Prints Pet Services + Faerie Dog Grooming Salon + Brownwulf Media booth at PRIDE IN THE ALLEY with PFLAG Oskaloosa last weekend was a vibe!

Thanks to everyone (and their dogs) who came out to support.

I was not able to make it myself but my adoring husband set up shop for me and sold paintings, handed out business cards, and made LOTS of friends in the community.

It can be hard in the current social climate to know where you’re welcome. To know when you’re wanted. To know that you’re loved.

ALL of my businesses support the rights of ALL human beings. I myself am q***r as heck. Non-binary. THEY/THEM.

And baby, I was born this way. 🌈

Koda the Collie had another session at Faerie Dog Grooming Salon and great strides were made in all realms. We were able to bathe, brush, and trim his b***y, tail, and nails.

While we won’t pretend it was ALL sunshine and rainbows—working with Koda to build trust and togetherness—is going quite well.

We can’t wait for the next big milestone, trimming up his feet hairs and getting in between his toes.

Thanks for visiting, Koda! We’ll see you in another 3 months or less. 💗

It’s a beautiful day to get your dog groomed at Faerie Dog Grooming Salon. 🧚

Making progress! Look at those beautiful eyes. (We used to not be able to touch the face at all so that is starting to come together.)

Winston was in for another groom and we made progress on his process. We were able to do some things we couldn’t before, with his say so, including a bath, blowdry, brush, and haircut.

Understandably, he did take issue with some aspects as he works his way towards being a perfect gentlemen on the grooming table. He still isn’t a fan of face, feet, and tail being touched, but we are getting there.

Our next big milestone will be getting those pesky nails trimmed. He was not ready for that yesterday, but we think next time we see him, it’ll be a go.
