Adoption Fees:
Dogs are available for only $150. This includes vet exam, current vaccinations, heartworm testing, Microchip implant & spay/neuter! This week at the shelter:

We had a momma & 6 puppies dumped.

We had a litter of 7 more puppies surrendered. (Jack Russel/Goldendoodle mix).

We had a little chihuahua left at the Casino truck parking lot.

We had 2 chihuahuas dumped at West Lake.

That's 17 more dogs into our already full shelter.

We had 2 puppies adopted & 1 pending adoption.
Also a recent stray, Daisy, was adopted.
Plus a frequent visitor, Roxy, found her forever home.

Our Mastiff is adopted & waiting to go to his new home.

We have a sweet lady interested in the 2 little chihuahua girls, so hopefully they'll get a new home soon. ****The girls are going to their new homes tomorrow. We are so happy they get to stay together!!**

Our little brown chihuahua male is still available.
We have 2 Husky females.
A blue heeler female.
A small lab mix female.
A very vocal red hound male.
A heeler/Shepard mix puppy male.
And several mixed breed dogs.

We have kittens, young cats and some adult cats all looking for homes.

We had a sweet volunteer take pictures today so we'll get them posted as soon as we can.

We need help getting these 2 home!

It's been another crazy day at the shelter.
We had Roxy our frequent visitor to the shelter, get adopted by a lovely couple and will be living her best life on a farm.

We had 7 more puppies come in. They are Jack Russel/Doodle mix and the sweetest cute babies ever!

We had another stray come in but he was reunited in just a few hours with his family.

And this evening we had 2 more chihuahuas brought in by the Osceola Police Department found out by West Lake. Can you help them get home?

Thank you to everyone who has dropped off puppy food & sent in money. It is greatly appreciated and now we have a total of 14 puppies so it will be put to good use!!

We will be open Friday 3-6 pm
Saturday 10a - 2pm.

Does anyone recognize this little one?
Brought in by Osceola Police as it abandoned in the Casino truck parking lot. We assume the owner is long gone but we are reaching out anyway. Appears to be a Chihuahua. Was left in a carrier and had on this harness.

We had a momma and 6 puppies dumped last night after I made my post about being full.
So now our population has grown by 7!

We desperately need puppy food! We now have 7 puppies total in the shelter.
Thank you for helping us. We appreciate our donors more than you know.

This week at the shelter:

We had 2 dogs adopted.
This is good news but, we had 1 puppy surrendered.
We had 2 strays come in. 1 was returned home. 1 is still looking for its family.
So as you can tell our shelter remains full. They come in faster than they go out!

We have calls every single day from people wanting to surrender animals. Some as far as Missouri. So many shelters have closed due to lack of funding & short on staff.

We have been close to that point a few times. We are thankful for donations of pop cans, money & volunteers. So thank you all!!

We currently have 14 cats & kittens and we try to limit it to 12 - we are full on cats.

We currently have 13 dogs with only 1 pending adoption.

We have a waiting list for people who are wanting to surrender both cats/kittens, puppies & dogs.

We need to find forever homes for what we have. We have to apologize to people everyday that we can't take more.

Please consider adopting. We have a great special on our animals that have been fixed.

You can call or message for an appointment or stop by Friday afternoon & Saturdays.
