Some people think becoming a parent means leaving pieces of yourself behind.

The tattoos.
The hobbies.
The dreams.
The things that made you you.

But that’s never how I saw it. I’m still the same person who loves tattoos, spoils the dogs, chases new ideas, and stays up too late planning things that probably didn’t need planning. Now there’s just one more person coming along for the ride.
