✨Today is World Pet Memorial Day✨
This was my Theodore. We drove by our old house about a week ago and saw our dear Theo’s grave. This is the first rose that bloomed since we buried him and the sweet lady who lives there now let my daughter have it to dry it out and keep forever. ❤️ Good people exist.
This gargantuan cat was by our side through some of our toughest moments and darkest hours! Seriously, he sprawled out in the driveway at 3:30 a.m. every morning waiting to greet me after a long night shift at the ER vet. He was there, waiting, every morning.
He was around for my grandmother’s cancer, a nasty divorce and a several hard to fathom losses. Through the scraped knees, the heartbreaks and the journey to my auto-immune disease diagnosis, he was there, right by my side. I miss him everyday!
I am so very thankful for my time with him! 🌈 My fluffy little angel baby, I’ll meet you at the rainbow bridge.
