After 7 years of service with the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office, K-9 Rev has retired. He played a vital role in taking narcotics off the street, tracking down multiple subjects who fled from law enforcement, all while keeping officers safe with his presence. K-9 Rev will enjoy retirement with Deputy Steinberg and his family as he will get to let loose and enjoy being a dog.
We are glad to introduce to everyone, K-9 Xena. Xena is a 20-month-old German Shepherd/ Belgian Malinois cross from Poland. K-9 Xena and Deputy Steinberg have completed their 200-hour training course with Tree Town Kennels, where they certified in narcotics and patrol. We are excited to have her apart of the department and look forward to utilizing the unique capabilities K-9s provide to our office.

We want to thank the community for the continued support and donations towards our K-9 program.

Hi friends! I’m Chloe (Goodale) Nielsen, an Osage native, and I’m so excited to be back in the community with my husband, Michael, our kiddos, and our three furry family members — and to introduce Rustic Paws! We're located where Town & Country Grooming and Noraleesy/ The Pet Nook used to be (next to Casey’s).

At Rustic Paws, we’re here to provide a safe, fun, and loving space for your pets! We offer:

🐾 Doggy Daycare – Play, socialize, and burn energy!
🐾 Puppy Training – Build great habits early.
🐾 Bath & Blowouts – Keep your pup fresh and clean!
🐾 Nail Trimming – Healthy paws, happy pups.
