✨We're celebrating the amazing team members at OPSR that help to make this your pet's home away from home!✨

Next up we have Emma! Emma is a guest experiences specialist at OPSR and has been a part of our team for the past five months.

At home she has five cats named Catness, Finn, Duck, Callie, and Cheddar and five dogs named Archie, Aberdeen, Tavish, Paisley, and Oakley. If Emma were a type of dog, she says she would be a shih tzu!

Outside of work, she loves to ride her horses. A fun fact about Emma is that she breeds Cairn Terriers! Emma is pictured here riding her horse!

Have you noticed that your dog has a persistent, dry cough? If so, it could be kennel cough.

Kennel cough is an infectious and highly contagious bronchitis of dogs that is characterized by a harsh, hacking cough and is spread through aerosol droplets.

Symptoms to watch for:
- dry, hacking cough
- retching/vomiting
- sneezing
- eye or nasal discharge

If you notice any other symptoms, such as fever or loss of appetite, you should contact your veterinarian right away.

Much like human colds, there is no full protection from kennel cough. However, vaccines, such as Bordetella, can partially protect your dog from the viruses and bacteria that cause kennel cough.

Help protect your pup by staying up to date on recommended vaccinations, avoiding contact with sick dogs, and contacting your vet if symptoms develop.🐾

We're celebrating the amazing team members at OPSR that help to make this your pet's home away from home!

First up we have Jamie! Jamie is a client services specialist at OPSR and has been a part of our team for the past two years. If you've dropped your pet off for lodging or called to schedule any services, chances are that you've had the pleasure of speaking to Jamie!

At home she has one dog named Millie, three cats named Sam, Dottie, and Ted, six goats, and seven rabbits. If Jamie were a type of dog, she says she would be a border collie because she is very active and unapologetically herself!

Outside of work, she loves to cook, read, and spend time outdoors. A fun fact about Jamie is that she loves to garden! Jamie is pictured here with her husband, Adam, and their two daughters, Lily and Lyla.

As Winnie the Pooh once said, "How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard." 🤍🐾

Today is World Pet Memorial Day, a day to honor and remember those that left paw prints on our hearts forever.

Though they may no longer be by our side, their unconditional love, loyalty, and memories stay with us every day. Today, we celebrate the joy they brought into our lives and the special bond that will never fade.

We would love for you to share a photo of a beloved pet that holds a special place in your heart in remembrance of them and the lasting impact they had. 🌈🐾
