From all of us at Jamie Letham Horsemanship, LLC, this Memorial Day we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage, selflessness, and dedication gave us the freedoms we cherish every day.

As we spend time with family, friends, and the horses we love, may we never forget those who gave all so we could live freely. Today we ride in remembrance, gratitude, and respect for our fallen heroes.

Sometimes riding at Jamie Letham Horsemanship, LLC isn’t about drills, perfect circles, or even taking lessons… sometimes it’s about kicking back, relaxing into the weekend, living your dreams, and playing your fiddle from the back of a wonderful horse. 🎻🐴✨

✨ Full Care Board Availability ✨

We currently have limited full care board openings available at our quiet and welcoming facility nestled in the mountains of Orrtanna, Pennsylvania.

🐴 Full Care Board – $600/month

Board includes:
• 12x12 stall with sawdust bedding
• Quality hay provided
• Regular turnout and turnout management
• Horses brought in and turned out daily
• Careful monitoring during all weather conditions

Owners may provide their own grain and supplements, or horses can be fed our current program of Triple Crown Senior Gold. All additional supplements must be supplied by the owner.

Whether you’re looking for a place to simply board and enjoy your horse at your own pace, or would like to participate in lessons and continue growing with your riding, we welcome both recreational and active riders.

Our facility offers a relaxed atmosphere with convenient access to nearby trails and easy hauling in any direction for clinics, shows, and events. During poor weather, horses stay dry, comfortable, and cared for indoors, and are turned back out as soon as conditions allow.

We regularly attend horse shows and outings, and boarders are always welcome to join us!

Well some of you may or may not have known that I’m a twin and well today’s OUR Birthday!! 🎉

So here we go!

Happy Birthday to my built in best friend, my ride or die, my forever twin. Through every chapter of life the wild adventures, the heartbreaks, the growing pains, the laughs until we cried, the distance, the closeness, the chaos and calm somehow we’ve always found our way back to each other. No matter how far apart life has taken us at times, you’ve always been my constant. The person I can call no matter the hour, no matter the situation, and know I’m never alone in this world.

We’ve grown up together and grown through some of the hardest parts of adulthood, yet we’ve always stayed strong, supportive, and there for each other through it all. There’s something special about having someone who has known every version of you and still chooses to stand beside you no matter what life throws our way. That’s what you’ve always been for me.

This life hasn’t always been easy, but I honestly wouldn’t want to take this journey with anyone else. We’ve survived so much together and still continue to chase the lives we deserve while cheering each other on through every step. I love that no matter how much we evolve, we still somehow come back to the core of who we are two souls figuring life out side by side, twinning through it all.

Here’s to more adventures, more late night talks, more healing, more laughter, more memories, and hopefully more trips together making up for lost time. Thank you for always being my safe place, my biggest supporter, and my lifelong best friend.

Listening—really listening—has become almost a forgotten skill in a world that runs on constant motion, quick replies, and the belief that being busy somehow excuses being unavailable. There’s a growing entitlement to be understood without the responsibility of first understanding.

What I’ve learned through training horses and working with dogs is that they keep me honest. They don’t respond to noise, distraction, or half attention. They respond to presence. They respond to clarity, consistency, and timing. That kind of work has kept me grounded in the here and now—not in later, not in to-do lists, not in “I’ll get back to you when I have time.” If you don’t show up fully in the moment, they simply don’t meet you there.

And it mirrors human communication more than people want to admit. When we feel like someone isn’t listening, it’s worth asking if we’re actually the ones not present enough to hear them. Animals make that impossible to ignore—they reflect back our energy, our focus, our inconsistency. If something is off in trust, connection, or respect, it’s rarely one-sided.

So when entering any conversation—with people or animals—it matters to be fully there. Not halfway in, not multitasking, not waiting for your turn to talk or the moment you’re “less busy.” Real connection requires choosing to show up, especially for the ones who consistently show up for you.
