🚨 RABIES ALERT: Ormond Beach 🚨

We've been notified that a cat has tested positive for rabies in Ormond Beach.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION:

Please be on the lookout for animals displaying unusual behavior:

• Nocturnal animals active during daylight
• Unusual aggression or lack of fear around humans
• Difficulty walking, excessive drooling, or disorientation
• Any animal appearing sick or acting strangely

If you spot an animal behaving suspiciously, DO NOT approach it. Contact Volusia County Animal Control immediately at (386) 248-1790.

Remember to keep your pets' rabies vaccinations current, and if you or your pet has been bitten or scratched by an unknown animal, wash the wound thoroughly and seek medical attention right away.

Your safety is our priority. Feel free to share this post with friends and family in the area.

Hello everyone!

In order to better serve you, our office will be closed Wednesday January 29th for upgrades and equipment training.

If you have medication, food or any other items to pick up, please do so before 5:30pm on Tuesday January 28th.

We will reopen on Thursday January 30th normal hours, 7:30am - 5:30pm.
