This mama lost her battle after being intertwined in netting. It takes a female green sea turtle 25 to 50 years to mature and return to the beach where she was born to lay eggs. This girl no longer has that opportunity. This is such a waste. PLEASE take your trash with you and dispose of it properly. Take that minute to pick up that piece of garbage you see as you're walking on the beach. Ask other people to be proactive. Whether it's a balloon, string, pieces of plastic, bags, etc...it harms our sea life. Let's help them. We are all they have to survive.
