✨🐾 It’s Happy Tail Tuesday! 🐾✨
And this one is all about DJANGO!! 🖤🩶

Our sweet little tripod boy has officially been adopted by his foster mom, Carol, and we couldn’t be happier! 🎉🥳❤️🏡

Just a little over 2 months ago, Carol welcomed Django into her home and promised him she would do everything she could to help heal his broken spirit after losing his family, and his broken body after cancer invaded his bones. 💔

Django had two surgeries....one to remove a front toe and then another to remove his rear leg. Today, this amazing little guy is happy, healthy, pain-free, and living life to the fullest! ☀️ Thank you to the amazing Dr. Howze & her fabulous Team at Chickasaw Trail Animal Hospital for the expert care! 🏥

Carol, we are forever grateful for the incredible love, compassion, patience, and dedication you have shown Django through every step of his journey. 🥹 From the moment he arrived, you gave him safety, comfort, unconditional love and hope for a new beginning 🙏🏼❤️ We're so happy he found you, BabyKitty 😻💕and George 😼🧡.

❇️ FOSTER NEEDED ❇️ Can anyone help Boomer? We’d love to get him out of boarding. Seeking a foster in Central FL with no other pets. Thanks to one of Boomers biggest advocates, he had a doggy day out adventure recently 🌟 he was a star as usual!

Boomer’s about 65 lbs, neutered, up to date on vaccines, potty trained, crate trained, and wonderful on walks. He’s non-reactive around other animals in public, but he feels safest being the only pet in the home. Older kids or teens would be best for him.

Please help us share Boomer’s story. Somewhere out there is the person he’s been waiting almost 4 years to meet. 🐾

Meet Mathers - the honorary fifth Chihuahua 🤭 ***Courtesy Share*** Reach out to Lil Rascals Dog Rescue for any inquiries.

At 60 pounds, you'd think he'd be the troublemaker in this group. Instead, he's the gentle giant. His foster siblings include four Chihuahuas—all under 10 pounds—and three cats. Mathers is nothing but respectful and sweet with every one of them ❤️

Found as a stray at just 2 months old, Mathers spent much of his young life growing up in shelters and kennels before finally getting the chance to experience life in a foster home.

And he's been making the most of it.

Mathers knows all the things a young dog should. He’s house trained, crate trained, walks beautifully on a leash, has excellent recall, and just generally has great manners. He can be a little shy when he first meets new people, but he is so loving once he warms up.

His dream home includes a fenced yard to run and roll in the grass, a loving family, and another dog to help him continue building confidence.

After spending so much of his life waiting, we're hoping his forever family is finally out there.

Hi, I’m Billy.

I’m a 12 to 13-year-old gentleman, about 72 pounds, and I’m really just looking for a soft place to land and someone to love.

I’m house trained and very polite about it. I’ll quietly wait by the door when I need to go out, no barking or fussing from me. I enjoy slow, easy walks where I can take my time sniffing everything, and I love a good nap on a soft bed just as much as anything else.

I’m also a great car ride buddy, and I really like calm company. I get along well with mellow dogs, and I’d be happiest in a peaceful home where life moves at a gentle pace.

I do have some age-related aches like arthritis and a little weakness in my back legs, but I still enjoy my days and feel best when I’m comfy and loved.

I was found as a stray, but I haven’t let that change who I am. I’m still gentle, loyal, and happiest just being near my people.

Short or Longer Term Foster Needed - No Kid/Pet Home in Central FL

Is anyone able to foster Boomer, even if for 2 weeks, just to give him a break from boarding?

If someone was able to foster longer, that would be amazing too. We are really struggling because our rescue has had ZERO foster apps. Like for any of our dogs 😔 It’s a serious issue for all rescues right now. Foster based rescues can’t function without fosters 😩

Boomer needs the following:
- No pet home
- No kid home (they scare him and me too 😅)
- He just soaks up human attention
- Potty and crate trained
- Walks awesome on leash

Medical note:
Molly is heartworm positive, which is caused by mosquito bites. She likely did not receive preventatives prior to rescue and came to us as a stray. Heartworm is not contagious to people or other pets, and Molly is currently undergoing treatment—fully covered by the rescue. She’s a happy, healthy girl and full of energy; this hasn’t slowed her down one bit! 🏃🏻‍♀️🎾

Everyone help us wish our sweet Boomer a very happy 5th birthday 🎉🎂🎈

Thanks to some incredible volunteers, Boomer got to spend his special day out on an adventure — soaking up love, fresh air, and the kind of joy every dog deserves 🥹 For a few hours, he got a break from boarding… but our hearts break knowing he had to go right back.

Boomer has spent almost 4 years waiting for someone to choose him. Nearly his entire adult life has been spent without a forever home of his own 💔 And despite all the people who adore him, we’ve received ZERO foster applications for this boy.

No dog should spend birthday after birthday wondering when it’ll finally be their turn.
