☀️Happy Monday, Friends! Let's start the week off with a Happy Tail! 🎉

Chloe lived her life outside, in deplorable conditions. 💔 Sadly, she was bred and found herself with 9 puppies. She and her babies were all confiscated due to their living situation and ended up at the shelter. Her puppies were quickly adopted… but Chloe was left behind, alone, scared, and hoping her turn for a family would come. 😢

Luckily, Chloe had an angel on her side 😇
Taryn saw how terrified she was and was determined to get her out of there. Her family took her home to foster for OCAS and when Chloe realized she was safe and loved, she blossomed 🌹and showed them what a smart, loving girl she is! Bully Up officially welcomed her to the Rescue so she would never have to see the inside of a shelter kennel again. ❤️

When Chloe met Lee and Ernest, we knew right away they were the perfect family for her. Chloe bonded with them immediately and made herself right at home! Her big brother, Moo 🐮 was just as smitten 🥰 These two adorable twinsies are inseparable and we couldn't be more thrilled that Chloe has finally found furever love, endless cuddles and her Happily Ever After! ✨💫

UPDATE 10/26: Rita was adopted by an amazing family! 🩷🩷🩷

There are some dogs we see - we just know in our hearts, we have to help. Reasonably, we can’t help every dog who is sent our way - but we need to help Rita 🥹

Rita is currently at Osceola County Animal Services. She was previously adopted from there by a nice family, but unfortunately their dog started attacking her. They reached out to us, but we had no foster to welcome her into the rescue. The safest option was returning Rita to the shelter 💔

These photos show a happy face, but she is shut down at the shelter. WE NEED A FOSTER TO HELP HER. We don’t have funds to place another dog in boarding and we won’t do that.

Rita is dog friendly, people friendly, cats unknown, we do not have any info on kids, but she’s an absolute doll. She is spayed and up to date on shots. She would make an amazing companion. She’s mildly active, but equal parts couch potato. She is used in play groups at the shelter to help other dogs socialize. She is potty trained and no other medical issues.

Boomer Update 💔

Unfortunately it did not work out with his last foster placement and he is back in boarding. We are really heartbroken for him, but appreciative for his previous foster mama giving him some time in an actual home.

Boomer has been waiting over 3 years for a place to call “home.” We feel hopeless some days, but we keep believing his person is out there.

He came into the shelter in 2022 as 1 yr old pup, and since been looking for someone to give him a chance. He is 4 years old, about 65lbs, neutered, up to date on shots, potty and crate trained, and loves all people. He would do best in the home with no other pets and no kids. Boomer is great on walks (non-reactive to other animals), but just too nervous to live in a home with other animals.

Please share! Our sweet, special boy Jinxie is still waiting for someone to say yes. He is about 2 yrs old, looking for a special medical / behavioral needs foster home. Preferably someone with experience, patience and compassion for the breed/a dog who’s still learning the ropes and likely only abused by a low life backyard breeder. He IS animal friendly, but between his medical and behavioral needs, we need him placed as someone’s one and only right now (no other pets). And absolutely no kid home. Jinx can get overestimated with too much commotion - kid energy is a big 🚫for him. He needs a calm home life.
