Beautiful Aila was confiscated from cruel, neglectful living conditions. At 11 years old, she should be enjoying her golden years, not fighting for her life. 💔

Despite everything, she is affectionate, walks beautifully on a leash, comes when called, and LOVES belly rubs! She especially enjoys the company of women, although she can be selective with some men.

Lilah (A608093) is just 3 years old and weighs only 17 pounds. She arrived at the shelter as a stray, and something is terribly wrong.

This little girl has been repeatedly circling in her kennel, staring into space, and becoming unresponsive. Shelter staff are concerned she may be experiencing seizures or another neurological condition. She also has a heart murmur and needs further diagnostics to understand what is happening to her.

💔 Lilah needs medical care that the shelter cannot provide long-term, and she is running out of time.

A rescue willing to take Lilah on could be facing significant veterinary expenses, including neurological evaluations, diagnostics, medications, and ongoing treatment.

THIS IS WHY PLEDGES ARE SO IMPORTANT. 🙏

Rescues are already overwhelmed with medical cases and mounting veterinary bills. Financial pledges can make the difference between a rescue being able to step forward and having to say no.

This sweet senior girl should be spending her golden years somewhere safe, surrounded by love. Instead, she’s sitting in a shelter, unable to understand what’s happening around her, and running out of time. 😭

Jolie is believed to be blind, potentially diabetic, and suffering from other age-related medical concerns. She has cataracts, has tested positive for heartworm disease, and needs more medical attention than the shelter can provide.

This magnificent senior gentleman, who appears to be a Cane Corso, finally found his forever home in 2019 after being let down multiple times. Tragically, his owner passed away, and Hercules is back in a shelter at 12 years old. 💔

He is wonderful with people, including children, and is easy to handle. He may be able to live with other dogs with proper introductions and supervision.

Hercules already lost the person he loved. Please don’t let him lose his life, too. He deserves a soft bed, a peaceful home, and someone to love him for whatever time he has left. ❤️

For over 260 days, Ace waited.

More than eight months of watching other dogs leave with their families while he continued waiting for someone to choose him.

And today, his wait is FINALLY over. 🥹❤️

His wonderful new family even sent us photos, and just LOOK at that smile!!! 😭💙

After spending so much of his life in a shelter, Ace finally gets to experience what every dog deserves. A home. A family. A place where he belongs.

This tiny girl desperately needs someone to give her a chance. 💔

Oreo came to the shelter as part of a confiscation case. We don’t know what her life looked like before arriving, but we do know that right now, she’s frightened, sick, and struggling.

Oreo has pneumonia, is refusing to eat, and isn’t taking her medications. 💔

And unfortunately, that’s not all she’s facing.

🩺 Oreo’s medical concerns include:

* Pneumonia and an upper respiratory infection
* Possible heart disease due to an enlarged heart seen on X-rays
* Bilateral luxating patellas
* Cataracts
* Dental disease with a possible tooth root abscess
* Being overweight

Oreo is also fearful and resistant to handling, making it difficult for shelter staff to complete examinations and administer the treatment she needs.

Imagine being just 13 pounds, feeling absolutely miserable, surrounded by unfamiliar people and noises, and not understanding why you’re there. 💔

Oreo isn’t a bad dog because she’s difficult to handle. She’s a scared little girl who is sick and needs help.

The shelter has started treatment, but she needs further veterinary evaluation and care that extends beyond what the shelter can provide.

Pierre arrived at the shelter last night after suspected trauma from being hit by a car. Radiographs revealed a dislocated left hip and MULTIPLE pelvic fractures. Even more concerning, his urinary bladder could not be visualized on the X-rays, leaving additional questions about the extent of his injuries.

Pierre was attempting to bite when he arrived, but can we really blame him? He’s a tiny, terrified dog who has likely experienced unimaginable pain. He doesn’t understand what’s happened to him or why he’s hurting. 💔

That’s what happened to little Autumn.

This precious 11-pound girl came into the shelter as a stray. She was adopted, but sadly, she was returned. Now, instead of being safe and loved in a home, she’s back in a frightening shelter environment with a deadline looming.

What many people don’t realize is that returning a dog to the shelter can have devastating consequences. Dogs who are returned may struggle with fear, confusion, and stress. Their behavior can deteriorate in the shelter environment, making it even harder for them to find another home. And for dogs like Autumn, that second chance can become a race against time. 💔

Autumn is understandably frightened, and sometimes that fear comes out as a little sass. But underneath that scared exterior is a sweet little girl who wants affection and connection.

💕 She walks nicely on a leash.
💕 She seeks out human interaction.
💕 She’ll happily sit in your lap for pets!
💕 She can potentially live with other dogs with initial separation and slow, proper introductions.

She needs a calm, understanding foster home where she can decompress, feel safe, and learn to trust again. Someone who understands that a frightened dog isn’t a bad dog. She’s simply a little soul who has been through too much.

At just 2 years old and 11 pounds, Autumn has her whole life ahead of her. She deserves so much more than having that life cut short because she’s struggling in an environment that terrifies her.
