COURTESY POST
"Almost 2 year old pup for adoption.
Iām very saddened to make this post. I adopted a beautiful 8 month old pup a little over a year ago after my dog of 13 years passed. My 6 year old and I were really missing having a dog and we went to a rescue and fell in love with our current dog Max. Heās sweet, super smart, very trainable, great with other dogs, people, and kids. No aggression at all. However, he is very high energy. I told the rescue I did not have a fenced in yard and that I wanted a ācalmerā pup. I showed interest in Max and they said he would fit well. However, after a few days at home I could see how high energy he is. He needs a large fenced in yard to work off all his energy and lots of attention. I tried daycare 1-2x a week but it wasnāt enough. Unfortunately, I canāt provide what he needs. It is so unfair to him and I want him to have the best life possible. He knows how to āsitā but thatās as far as Iāve gotten. It only took me a couple hours to get him to learn that. He does really well when he has a ājobā to do. He loves the treat dispenser I got him. I put the button on one side of the house and the dispenser on the other. He learned that he must press the button to get the treat in about 15 minutes. Thatās just a testament to how smart he is. If I only had a bigger house and fenced in yard I would keep him. I want someone to adopt him that will be able to provide him with the exercise and attention he deserves. Heās due for his next set of shots, which I will get him before I adopt him out to anyone. Please message me if you are interested."
