This sweet cocker spaniel was given one month to live after being diagnosed with lung cancer (a sarcoma) that had metastasized. So proud of Dr. Merry Gibson, one of our amazing SanaWave vets, who helped this beautiful dog beat the odds and get a clean bill of health. (If you live in the Denver/Castle Pines area and have a pet, go see Dr. Gibson!) She gave us permission to share the post she shared in our vet group, which is in the comments. Amazing work, Merry!

Veterinarians in the greater NY/CT area: Dr. Jeff Feinman in Westport, CT is looking to recruit canine and feline patients for a trial on the SanaWave's ability to dissolve stones and calcifications (see photo of past bladder stones case). Congratulations to our friend, Dr. Alice Villalobos, for winning the 2020 Society for Veterinary Medical Ethics (SVME) Shomer Ethics Award at the VMX conference.

This award recognizes her years of service and leadership in the veterinary field, her work in quality of life assessment, and her compassionate perspectives on bioethical decision making, and her book, "Canine and Feline Geriatric Oncology: Honoring the Human-Animal Bond."

Dr. Villalobos is our hero because not only is she incredibly smart and passionate about what she does, but because she is offers kinder, gentler care for her end-of-life patients, as well as compassionate support for pet owners trying to navigate their way through difficult times. For anyone who has gone though the heartbreak of having a pet with cancer, hospice needs, or the challenges of old age, you know how important this is. It is everything.

Thank you, Alice, for all you do. You are an inspiration to everyone in this space. ❤️
