I adopted Rudy last year from someone who, admittedly, just did not have enough time for him. Rudy came to me scared, severely matted and overgrown. After searching for rabbit groomers to no end and being against sedating Rudy for a “quick” shave at a clinic, I decided to groom Rudy on my own. I’ve been grooming Rudy since December 2020, the mats that were once under his chin, between his legs, on
his abdomen and along his sides have all been brushed out and he can now FULLY extend his toes with ease. After the mats were removed Rudy could binky/jump higher, run at speeds I never expected him to reach and his personality began to flourish, instantly. Prescription anxiety medications/ over the counter calming agents have never been used on Rudy when I groom him, and he gets groomed every 1-2 weeks. I am offering my competences out to you, your pet bunny or small animal. I have worked as a Veterinary Technician and have experience with restraint and understanding when less is more. I can travel to your home, groom your pet with my sanitized equipment and hopefully leave you and your animal with peace of mind. Though I am doing this to help out other rabbit/small animal owners who may not have the time or are nervous of the possibility of injuring their pet, know that I am mainly doing this for the comfort of your animal. Nothing says “I’m happy” more than witnessing your rabbit fully extend their toes comfortably and blissfully.
