Here are some common signs your pet may be in pain:
🚶 Limping or moving more slowly

🌟 Pet of the Week at Hometown Veterinary Partners Orland Park! 🌟

Meet Tobi, the Pet of the Week at Hometown Veterinary Partners Orland Park! 🐾 This handsome cat impressed the Hometown Veterinary Partners Orland Park team with his gorgeous eyes. 🐱

Tobi came in for a fever because he had been diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). Until recently, cats with FIP had a poor prognosis, and the disease was almost always fatal. New treatments have recently been developed that give cats like Tobi a fighting chance! We're happy to report that after starting his medication, Tobi's fever resolved, and he's feeling better. He'll need treatment for at least the next 12 weeks to continue to fight his infection.
