1. Do not bring your dog to firework celebrations (no they really don't like it. It hurts our ears, imagine how sensitive they are)
2. Leave your dog at home
3. Microchip your pet
4. Make sure collar has # written on it in sharpie or a secure name tag
5. Check fences
6. Accompany your pet outside on a leash or lead even if you have a fence. Best to not take chances
7. Turn music on for your pet
8. Have a newly adopted or scared foster ? Double Leash and harness outside at all times. Watch garage and front doors. Car tranport, use a car seatbelt lock
9. If necessary, consult with your vet about calming tactics and natural remedies
10. Re-Read and Repeat Steps 1-9
