To all the people that have come and gone from our farm over the years, it saddens me to let you know that Gizmo passed away peacefully August 22, 2019. He had slowed down alot the last few years so we knew it wad inevitable but it's never easy loosing a member of the family and family he certainly was. For 15 years he ruled the barn, helping to bring in horses, telling all the strange dogs where they would (or wouldnt) fit in, devouring apples in the yard, eating vet work, board checks, you name it. He kept everyone on their toes, made us laugh, and now made us cry. The barn seems so empty without him helping to feed each day. He was definitely one of a kind and none will ever match up to his personality.
We love you Giz. May you rest in peace, and may you always have an endless supply of mints and apples to comfort you.
