I woke up in my basket, the day after you'd gone.
I felt so sad and lonely, no lap to sit upon.
I had no-one to run to,
No treats to take with glee.
I had no plans for walkies, now you are not with me.
I know I'll be looked after,
I know they will be kind.
But you were my true Mistress,
And I've been left behind.
I hope your journey's peaceful and all I wish and pray,
Is I'll be there beside you,

Closed the doors to this B&B over 4 years ago. No longer ours...sold it. Have site still up for old visitors to send us notes and comments. We had so many wonderful guests. We miss you all!.

We closed this b&b over 2 years ago. The place is much different now. We
leave the site up only for past guests to keep in contact with us. Do not expect a 5 star experience now...New owners have different standards.

We sold this Nauvoo B&B 3 years ago. We had wonderful guests from all over the world and thank them for visiting us. We are now retired and new owners run the B&B much different than to did. So this house is not for Sale now...it was SOLD

It's Fall and as we walk the streets of old Nauvoo, leaves of every color adorn the branches. It is such a beautiful time to be here. We will miss this special place but new adventures with our family lie ahead and we look forward with peace...
