🐎 Weekend Barn Help Needed — Mulino, OR 🐎

Looking for reliable help for weekend & holiday barn chores.

This is a working position — must be comfortable around horses and able to keep a steady pace.

Duties include:
• Cleaning 13–19 stalls
• Feeding (hay/grain)
• Turnout & bringing horses in
📍 Mulino, OR
📅 Weekends + holidays
⏰ 9am–4pm (or until finished)
💲 $15/hour (may offer per-stall pay)

Experience required — not a beginner position.

Happy 5th birthday to my horse-obsessed boy! 🐎

Austin has loved horses for as long as I can remember. Most kids ask for toys… he asks to go to the barn 🤠
Last weekend he had his first horse show and his first beach ride. He was in absolute heaven!
Today we celebrated with family, horses, and a few birthday surprises 🎁

Happy birthday buddy. I can’t wait to see all the adventures ahead. ❤️

𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗮 𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴... 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲.

When a horse gives you effort, it’s easy to keep pushing.
But sometimes what they’re telling you isn’t “push me harder.”
It’s “help me settle.”

Sometimes the best way to fix something in the arena… is to leave the arena for a little while.

After a longer arena session, I’ll often take the horses out across the property.

Different view. Different feel. Same conversation.
It lets the work settle, but it also gives both of us a chance to relax and enjoy the time together. ❤️🐎

The fix isn’t always correction.
Sometimes it’s clarity and release.

Merry Christmas everyone! 🎄🐴
Feeling especially thankful for quiet barn moments, muddy boots, and a life built around good horses and good people. Watching Austin light up when he opened his present and saw his new cowboy boots from Santa was the best, and his teenage brothers being such great sports made it even sweeter. Austin also got a new Carhartt jacket and sweatshirt 😊. Grateful for my animals, the lessons they teach every day, and finishing the night with a Broncos win felt like the perfect cherry on top 🧡💙

🏡🐎 KC Performance Horses has a new home!

We’re excited to share that we are now working out of a beautiful new facility in Mulino — just a quick drive from our previous location and still conveniently located. It’s been a whirlwind getting everything moved and settled, so thank you for your patience with the quieter posts lately!

With the new space, we now have two training spots currently available. If you’ve been considering starting a horse in training or getting support with your current partner, this is a great time to reach out!

We’re incredibly grateful for our clients through this transition and can’t wait to welcome you to the new facility soon. I’ll be sharing all the fun new amenities and lots of exciting content in upcoming posts!
