I was injured in December but my mobility issues continued to worsen. The last few weeks have been hard for all 3 of us. I put on a brave face but it was time. We did not want this day to come. In the past few weeks I wanted to jump and play but can’t. I tried to chase my tail but stopped because it was too difficult. Climbing up & down the stairs was a challenge and Mom had to carry me. We have had lots of poops to clean up because I could not make it outside in time. Thirteen is a our lucky number. I was a loyal companion and family member for 13 years, 4 months & 3 days. I was legitimately born 9 months after Mom & Dad were married. I was a fur baby or “buppy” or “boo”. The big chair & ottoman will always be “our spot” even though it has been several months since I have been able to jump up there. Mom & Dad will miss my face in the window everyday when they leave for work and my “happy meter” greetings when they arrive home. There are so many great memories & good times we will all cherish forever. I am free of pain & I will continue to chase my tail now that I have crossed the rainbow bridge. Until we meet again.

Mom said I can not jump any more. She made a nice bed right next to her. She is carrying me up and down the stairs too. My Mom loves me!

Mom told me to slow down. I hurt my leg outside this morning. She keeps telling me to rest. She even put my bed in the living room. I better listen next time. She said I may have to go to the vet.
