We are excited to welcome Dr. Alyssa Mulligan to the Monument View team! 🎉

She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University in 2018. Originally from Moab, she developed an early appreciation for animals and the outdoors that ultimately shaped her path into veterinary medicine. She received comprehensive training in mixed animal practice and built a strong foundation caring for a wide variety of species. Today, her clinical focus is primarily on small animals and exotics, where she enjoys the diversity and unique challenges each patient brings.

Dr. Mulligan has a special interest in client communication and strives to meet the individual needs of every family she serves. She believes that listening carefully and tailoring care plans to each client’s goals and circumstances is essential to providing truly compassionate veterinary care. Her professional passions also include pain management and end-of-life services, where she is dedicated to ensuring comfort, dignity, and support for both patients and their families during life’s most difficult transitions.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Mulligan enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, rafting, fly-fishing, cooking, reading, and embracing just about any opportunity to be outside. She lives with her husband, two dogs, two cats, and a flock of chickens, who continually inspire her dedication to helping animals live happy, healthy lives.

We are excited to announce that The Grinch will be making a special appearance at Monument View next Thursday the 18th - Saturday the 20th!

He's begrudgingly agreed to appear in pet portraits and may also be able to convince your pet's doctor to pop in as well 😏

Feel free to stop by and say hello! We will also be accepting dog food and cat litter to be donated to Roice-Hurst Humane Society and Loma Cat House or monetary donations for either cause.

The Monument View team wishes everyone a safe and happy holiday! We are so thankful to be able to take care of your furry family members ❤

We will be closed on Thanksgiving Day to allow the team time to spend with their family and pets. We will resume normal business hours on Friday at 8am and be available all weekend for regular appointments and urgent care so give us a call at (970) 644-5552.

Our techs are a group of highly skilled, highly compassionate professionals who play many roles in the day-to-day functioning of our hospital. We want to take a moment to recognize them and thank them for their hard work and dedication to the pets and clients they help.

Monument View Veterinary Hospital will be available for normal business hours this Saturday and Sunday and closed on Monday September 1st to give our team time to spend with their family and pets.

We are happy to help this weekend if you need us and will return on Tuesday for regular appointments and emergencies.

As the summer season comes to an end, we offer our heartfelt good wishes to some of our beloved team members as they chase their dreams. Justin, affectionately known as Little J, will continue his academic journey at CSU's veterinary school for his third year, Ryan will start his first year at CSU's veterinary school, and Autumn will embark on her pre-veterinary studies. Although we will miss them, we are proud and delighted to be part of their path. The MVVH family will always cherish them. Good fortune will undoubtedly follow these exceptional individuals. We hope to see them back at MVVH in the near future.
