Purrfect Pawz Savannah Cats The first Savannah cat was a mating between a pet serval and a Siamese cat. It was named this to recognize the African savannah of the serval cat.

The offspring of these two cats was named “Savannah” which is the name of these cats today.

The ocelot (Leopardus pardalis) is one of the largest small wild cats found in the Americas. They are recognized by their stocky build and soft, beautiful fur coats. Ocelots play a role in keeping prey populations like small and medium-sized rodents in check and ensuring healthy forest regeneration.

JUST returned from a 2 week trip to the Kruger National Park and man alive did we have EPIC sightings!!!

We had at least 2 leopards on every single drive.

This particular photo was of a sighting we had Smokey the young male leopard as he was lying in a tree RIGHT ABOVE MY VEHICLE!

Traffic was hectic at times, but we persevered with patience and often got rewarded.
