It was a busy weekend! 😁
A huge thank you to everyone that donated cans and bottles! We had a very good turn out! Being a first it can be scary to give it a try but it paid off in the long run.

Thank you to everyone that stopped and donated cash as well. It was all greatly appreciated!

For our next fundraiser we aren’t sure what’s next. 🤔 Anyone have any suggestions??

Huge Shoutout to ShoeFly Graphics for donating the brand new park sign as you turn into the park road! The old one was definitely old and seen way better days! We can’t thank Tim enough! If you need any decals, signs, embroidery, shirts or anything you can think of hit him up!!

The sails are finally installed and I’m beyond thankful for the final results!

This Thursday we will be doing some work on the kiosk. The park with remain OPEN but we ask you keep your distance as we get things done. It will be caution taped off so please stay out of the area!

Things are still getting done slowly. If it ever stops raining the shade sails will be going up.

We do ask that when using the park you please put your water jugs back into there home before leaving the park. We are doing our best to try to keep the park looking clean and welcoming always. Leaving the jugs inside most dogs think they are toys.

What a weekend!

So much went on at the park this weekend it’s shaping up nicely!

✨Brand new shade sail posts
✨All the plastics in for the summer
✨Repaired some of the plastics
✨Refilled and changed all stations
✨Graded the sand
✨Dug out all the high corners (New Leaf rocks!!)
✨Did some work to the fencing
✨Revamped the kid area

What’s still to come…

✨Shade sails to go up
✨All new leash holder signs
✨New park sign by entrance
✨Agility ramps to go in
✨New Kiosk!
✨New signage

The park is cleaning up nicely little by little! ❤️

This park is ran by donations, to help keep all this good going strong if everyone could donate $5 that would be a huge help to the park!

Meet Russ and Jade Bailey.

For over 5 years, they’ve been the driving force behind maintaining the North Quabbin Dog Park in Orange putting in the time, effort, and care to keep it a great place for the community.

They’ve done an incredible job, but they could really use some extra hands especially during spring prep and fall cleanup.

They’ll be announcing a fall cleanup date for October later on in the season, so be sure to follow the North Quabbin Dog Park page and keep an eye out.

Many hands make light work.

New Leaf will be there to help as well and we’d love to see others join in too.

This park is not funded, which means things like trash pickup, bags, and basic upkeep come directly out of what they’re able to raise.

I’ll be sharing their Venmo and if a handful of us even send $5, it can go a long way toward keeping the park clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone.

I’ve been thinking more about what giving back looks like for New Leaf in our community, and this feels like a great place to start.

Whether you volunteer, donate, or simply spread the word I hope this inspires you.
