🎃🐾 HAPPY HALLOWEEN FROM KIKIS CANINES! 🐾👻
Wishing all of our wonderful clients, their families, and of course our four-legged friends a fun, spooky, and SAFE Halloween! 🧡🖤
With all the excitement of costumes, candy, decorations, and trick-or-treaters, we wanted to share a few reminders to help keep everyone safe tonight!
🍬 Keep the candy away from your pups! Chocolate and candy containing xylitol (sometimes labeled birch sugar) can be extremely dangerous for dogs. Keep those candy bowls and trick-or-treat bags somewhere curious noses can’t reach! Don’t forget about candy wrappers, too!
🚪 Watch those doors! With trick-or-treaters coming and going, it’s easy for a dog to slip outside unnoticed. Make sure your pup is secured before opening the door, and double-check those collars and ID tags!
🐕 Not every dog enjoys Halloween! Constant doorbells, strangers, costumes, and loud noises can be overwhelming. It’s perfectly okay to give your dog a quiet, comfortable space away from all the excitement. They don’t need to greet every visitor!
🎃 Be mindful of decorations! Keep electrical cords, candles, glow sticks, and decorations out of reach of curious paws and wagging tails!
🐾 If you’re taking your dog trick-or-treating, make sure they’re comfortable around crowds, costumes, and unfamiliar noises. Keep them leashed, give them space, and remember that leaving them home is sometimes the safest option!
🚗 AND PLEASE DRIVE SAFE TONIGHT! Little ghosts, goblins, and princesses will be out enjoying their evening! Slow down through neighborhoods, watch carefully around parked cars and driveways, and keep an extra eye out for children crossing the street. Excited kiddos don’t always remember to look both ways!
Most importantly, have FUN, make memories, and enjoy all the Halloween excitement! 🥰
From our family and all the paws here at Kikis Canines LLC, we wish you a HAPPY & SAFE HALLOWEEN! 🎃🐕🧡
